HERE’S HOW WE’RE HELPING
OTHERS IN COVID-19.
We hope that you and your loved ones are safe during this unprecedented and challenging
time. Our hearts go out to everyone right now, especially the heroes on the frontlines.
We have been working in partnership with our parent company Caleres to make a difference
and wanted to share with you how we are doing our part to make a positive impact on our
community. By working together, we know that we will all get through this soon.
Here are some of the ways we are helping:
FOOTWEAR DONATIONS TO HEALTHCARE WORKERS
Companywide we are doing incredible things to support our
healthcare community. To date, we’ve donated nearly 5,000 shoes
more than $250,000 to frontline healthcare workers and
COVID-19 relief efforts. Donations have been made to hospitals in
New York, San Francisco, New Orleans and St. Louis. Sam Edelman
has partnered directly with the non-profit organizations From
Fashion With Love and #InMyScrubs to get necessary product to
healthcare workers in our hometown of NYC.
MASK CREATION FOR HOSPITALS IN NEED
Together with our Caleres family, we are committed to doing what
we can to support the much needed demand for medical supplies
across the country. Caleres has transformed our domestic factory
based in Port Washington, Wisconsin, to now produce more than
100,000 hospital masks for hospital workers and visitors in need
following the recommendations provided by the CDC.
#SESMALLSTEPS
By utilizing our social media channels we have called upon our
community to help put our best foot forward. It’s simple for every
post in your Sam Edelman shoes tagging #SESmallSteps and
#InMyScrubs, we donate $5 to the #InMyScrubs COVID-19
response efforts. One post is equivalent to one meal donation for
our NYC healthcare community working tirelessly to keep us
healthy and safe.
ABOUT FROM FASHION, WITH LOVE
From Fashion, With Love is a not-for-profit effort that provides gift bags to all nurses currently residing in NYC hotels.
ABOUT IN MY SCRUBS
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit NYC a group of friends came together to help support their peers on the frontline. Since starting the #InMyScrubs non-profit in March 2020, they have raised funds to directly support NYC local restaurants in order to deliver meals to hospital workers at 21 critical need hospitals in NY & NJ everyday.
