Hi guys! I’m Jessica from Bows & Sequins. I am a 20-something shopaholic living in Chicago. Bows & Sequins is a personal style blog featuring yours truly. My personal style is put together and well accessorized, but pretty casual. I love mixing girly, glitzy pieces with casual basics (like denim or a button-front shirt) to create a unique look. Don’t get me wrong– I love getting glammed up and am obsessed with high fashion, but most of the time you can find me in a pair of jeans.
I tend to buy shoes that go with everything, such as the Rella in whiskey/au-natural and Gigi in saddle, because I know I will wear them over and over again.
Every so often, I love to purchase a “statement” pair of shoes, like the Warner 2 in ruby red and the Odetta in black/white/pink. These types of shoes are amazing heels that I base an entire outfit around. They are shoes that get noticed! I don’t necessarily wear them all the time, but I love having them in my wardrobe for an instant style pick-me-up.
