My name is Nerea and I am the creator and editor of the fashion and style blog, Corazón de Maniquí. I am currently living in Madrid but am originally from Ibiza. The key to my personal style success is high heels. I fell in love with Sam Edelman heels when I received a pair of black Lorissas for my birthday. With its studs and sparkle, the Lorissa is one of the most incredible and gorgeous shoes I’ve owned!
I love wearing heels of different shapes and colors. The Novato in aqua, and the Lorissa in truffle are two of my favorites. I feel so elegant and poised when I wear them! The Novato adds a touch of bright color and complements my turquoise blouse, skinny jeans, and blazer. The Lorissa in nude is neutral but with an edge, and looks great with different textures such as my faux fur coat and distressed boyfriend jeans. All three of these heels can transform any outfit and provide the perfect dose of confidence.

On March 31st, Sam Edelman visited Belk at the Summit for a wonderful event supporting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama. Fans, friends and shoe lovers in the Birmingham community all poured out in support of the event, which through the combined donations of Sam and Belk, raised over $10,000 for breast cancer research.
“As a male designer in the world of women’s footwear, I come in contact everyday with women whose lives are touched by breast cancer in one way or another,” Sam Edelman shared. “I’m so blessed that women love shoes. I’m so blessed to work with women every day of my life and I’m so blessed to be able to give back.”
At the event, Sam Edelman presented his Spring 2012 collection and spoke about his favorite spring trends: color-blocking and mixing materials. He also shared that rock and roll music inspires many of his embellished and spiked creations.

Check out three easy looks we created starring the black maxi skirt and some of our favorite shoes from our Spring 2012 collection:
Go boho by wearing the black maxi with the Petty boots and a chiffon blouse! This look is stylishly casual, with the leopard pattern on the Petty offering a fun pop. On Jan 14th, China’s premier department store Lane Crawford hosted a Sam Edelman personal appearance. It was a night of cocktails, stiletto-stamped lollipops, and of course, shoes, as the gorgeous Spring ’12 collection was on display. The Sam Edelman design team worked to create exclusive styles–fabulous updates of key styles like the Lorissa and the Alvin–for Sam’s appearance.
Guests included fans, fashionistas, and socialites including Ana R., Jocelun Luko, Anthony Sandstrom, Ankie Beilke, and Audrey Lee. Check out the photos from the luxurious event:
