Monday, August 30th, 2010Nicole by OPI Gossip Girl Collection
Thursday, August 26th, 2010Spotted—The Gossip Girl Collection from Nicole by OPI. These limited-edition nail polishes are definitely not for the timid, mixing cool hues with lots of sparkle. We think the regal, elegant shade of “Party in the Penthouse” is worthy of Ms. Blair Waldorf, herself, and all fashionistas alike. We are loving “Scandals, Secrets & Sparkle,” which gives your fingers the ultimate dazzle as you text the hottest scoop to your friends. “Too Rich for You” evokes envy, mixing green and blue to achieve the perfect dark teal, suited for the rebellious Jenny Humphrey. And for a more carefree look a la Serena, the glittery “…Spotted” will stand out at any swanky affair. We love that even if you don’t get your manis on the Upper East Side, this limited-edition line from Nicole by OPI will transform your nails into the talk of the town.

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010The Row for Linda Farrow
Tuesday, August 24th, 2010Style icons Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have launched several fashion lines, but we’re most excited for the collaboration with eyewear designer Linda Farrow for their exclusive brand, The Row. This collection of shades features classic silhouettes with lens options to match whatever mood strikes you. The Row’s modern take on vintage styles are perfectly chic uptown, downtown, and everywhere in between. Our favorites include the Lennon-esque round metal-rim and the over-sized cat-eye wayfarer style. We are loving the attitude of this collection, so pair these with your favorite Sam Edelman shoes for a high-fashion look from head to toe.

Monday, August 23rd, 2010Eco-Fashion: Going Green at FIT in NYC
Monday, August 23rd, 2010The exhibition “Eco-Fashion: Going Green” at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City explores the complex relationship between the fashion industry and our environment. For better or worse, this show examines areas of labor practices, treatment of animals, textile dyeing and production, recycling of materials, fiber origins and quality of craftsmanship, all with respect to the impact on Mother Earth. On view through November 13, 2010, we love that this important exhibition educates viewers about the evolution of the fashion industry. With the fabulous designs on view, we think “going green” has never looked so good!
